About Advantures

It all started when I began exploring Malaga a bit more. I’m not the kind of guy who enjoys sitting still—I’ve moved over 20 times! Always renting fully furnished apartments, staying just long enough to think, maybe this time I’ll settle down. Spoiler: I never did.

Eventually, the itch to keep moving turned into something bigger;
a thought hit me: Wouldn’t it be amazing to have a van and just…go? Sleep wherever I parked, wake up to the sound of waves or birds. Plus, I needed a car anyway—for climbing trips, surfing, or hiking… .

I dove headfirst into research. I spent way too much time looking for the perfect car and obsessing over finding a garage to build it out. I made things complicated, overthinking every little detail. It reminded me of the time I sat on my couch after work, sipping a beer while searching for the “best full-body workout.” The irony?
All I needed to do was leave the beer and go to the gym and start.

Then came the moment that changed everything. I was in Morocco for Christmas, walking up from the beach with a surfboard under my arm. There, on a curve in the road, was a guy parked in his campervan, casually sipping coffee. That’s when it hit me: I want to be him. I want to park my van in that exact spot, drink coffee, and soak in the view.

That thought stuck with me. A few weeks later, I was scrolling through Marketplace and found a van that seemed to be good.

“Virginia, I think I found a van I want to buy,”.
“Okay,” she said. “What are the pros and cons?”
“There are no cons,” I replied.
“So, what are you waiting for?” she laughed.

And we hit the road together…

And that was it. 4 months after, I crossed Europe and drove to Morocco to recreate that moment—the coffee, the curve in the road, the freedom. And you know what? It was worth every bit of effort.

This lifestyle is so much more than Instagram posts or YouTube stories. It’s real.
It’s raw. And the best part? The people you meet along the way. Most of them don’t care about social media—they care about adventure, connection, living fully and simple.

But here’s the thing: you don’t have to dive straight into campervan life to feel this kind of freedom. Start small. Go camping. Pack a tent and pitch it by a lake.
Try bikepacking. Take a road trip. Each little step plants a seed, and before you know it, that seed will grow into a longing for your next adventure.

Because here’s the truth: Adventure might hurt you, but monotony will kill you.

So go on and Hit the road !
